Sending Some Love

Happy 2010, Friends!

I have been a busy bee at work this week, and consequently, haven't had a lot of time for posting. We've been super busy at the women's specialty clothing store where I work, marking down the winter inventory (wow, there are some great deals to be found right now!), unpacking shipments, and displaying the new spring merchandise. After a season of black, gray, and red, it is so refreshing to see new colors! Sure, the temperatures are in the single digits outside, but inside it is warm and cheery! Lots of spring greens, warm oranges, and buttery yellows paired with navy, taupe, and cocoa.

Today's color palette was not of my own choosing. After all, only the great artists at Splitcoast Stampers could come up with a combo of Certainly Celery, Handsome Hunter, Bermuda Bay, and a splash of pink.

This card also fits the category for this week's Clean and Simple challenge to incorporate hearts into a creation. I'm sending this card to Stef, who needs a lot of love and attention. She's home recuperating from pneumonia (lots of that going around, from what I hear!).

{recipe: Wild Hearts bg stamp (SU), Teeny Tiny Wishes (SU), certainly celery cardstock, white cardstock, bermuda bay cardstock and ink, handsome hunter textured cardstock, chipboard heart, Amuse heart twinkles, velvet ribbon (Making Memories)}

Stop back tomorrow for a peek at my first entry for the Faith-Based Challenge!
