SMASH Day Saturday

Since September, I've been participating in a Tuesday morning bible study with a sweet group of women. Our study is based on this book: Becoming Woman of Freedom by Cynthia Heald. Each week, the topic changes...freedom from guilt, freedom from bitterness, freedom from busyness. I thought it would be a great idea to use my SMASH book to do some faith journalling from these weekly lessons.

Every week, we're encouraged to memory a key bible verse. This week's lesson was based on Hebrews 12:1-2.

The following week's verse was Ephesians 4:24.

I used some papers from My Mind's Eye and had a little fun with punches and my pen. I'm also using elements from The SMASH line, like the envelope pockets, to store the weekly handouts.

SMASHing...a fun way to spend a Saturday and record some thoughts on faith at the same time. Have you seen the SMASH line at Target now? I think these little books would make a great Christmas present, don't you?

  1. Your pages are so sweet...little pieces of art. I can see a whole Bible study utilizing this...OR...sister's around the kitchen table. Art extensions are AMAZING at aiding retention or memorization. Very Cool :)
