Doubling Down for December

Aaack! December's here! I need to start doubling down on my Christmas cards this week! I decided to use this sketch from Iwona Palamountain that was posted on the Waltzingmouse Stamps sketch challenge this weekend. Here are two cards. This one is a traditional A2 size:

I got a little fancy and frosty with this one.

{Today's Brew: Sewing Box Christmas (WMS), always artichoke/bravo burgundy card stock from SU, versafine onyx ink, Picket Fence Distress Stain, Mister Huey calico white mist, glitter card stock, paper from Simple Stories Handmade Holiday, corner rounder punch}

I decided to keep the next card a little more simple. This card is a square 4 1/2 by 4 1/2 size...still fits in your standard envelope and doesn't need extra postage!

{Today's Brew: Sewing Box Cristmas (WMS), PTI Rustic white card stock, bravo burgundy card stock (SU), Bravo Burgundy/Old Olive ink from SU, amuse twinkle, paper from Simple Stories Handmade Holiday, corner rounder punch}

Happy Monday, cafe friends!

  5. I love them both and I think they both are kinda on the CAS side … very pretty, and elegant. Love the snow falling on your blog and your sweet dog in the snow.

  6. EEK! Marybeth, I see that Saltbox is coming back! So excited to see that!! Looks like digital images, but I've hung on to all of my stamp sets from before. I have quite a few:) Can't wait to see what you make! These WMS cards are so country sweet...love how the first one looks like it's coated with snow. The paper on the second is a perfect match for the Sewing Box snowflake! Gorgeous!

  11. Wow! I don't know which is my favorite of the two cards...so I choose both! The first card has such a wonderful inked edging. I love the snowy detail. And the second card is so soft and peaceful with the use of white space. Just lovely.
