Cloud9 Blog January Blog Hop

It's the ninth of a new month in a new year. Cloud 9 time!

This month's challenge is an inspiration photo. Here it is:

Oooh...all that lovely kraft paper mixed with silver and sparkle. Love it! Here's my take on this photo:

I love how this card turned out! It's vintage and a little shabby, but not over-the-top cluttered and messy.

And speaking of messy...I embossed those hearts! I'm so proud of myself. I do NOT like embossing. It's messy and imperfect and I end up with glitter all over my bathroom. But this morning, I embraced the messy imperfection. It's a new year. I do not need to be afraid of a little glitter!

{Today's Brew: Heartfelt Mix stamp set (WPlus9 Design),  heart dies (WPlus9), kraft and white card stock (PTI), My Mind's Eye Be Happy sheet music paper, ivory seam binding (SU), silver brad (Making Memories), Mister Huey Calico White mist, versafine onyx ink, paper doily}

Thanks for visiting the cafe today!

  1. Maryrose, I love it too! The silver embossing is so perfect and it is what I was trying to go for, but couldn't get to work in the end. I also love the doily and the seam binding. So beautiful! Thanks so very much for joining us at Cloud9!
