PTI M.I.M. 220: Die Cut Mini Notebooks

This week's Make It Monday challenge at the PTI blog looked like fun. Mini notebooks made from die cuts! I am a BIG note taker, and I keep note pads everywhere. But lately, I really need them for my planner. I came up with a great way to use my dies and stamps to make a handy note pad for the personal planner!

Here it is! A fun little pocket that holds latte mugs, perfect for a fall cup of Pumpkin Spice!

I used one of the planner pages for dimensions, cut out card stock, and made a pocket. Then I punched holes to put it in the binder.

I added a few fall leaves for fun!

Then I die cut about a dozen latte mugs in white card stock, and they fit in the pocket perfectly!

And here's the fun part. I can decorate each mug with the washi tape that I keep in my planner at all times!

Now, when I am doing my weekly planning, I can have a mug of fun at the ready! The best part? I can keep it in the pocket, or pull it out and take it to go!

And here's one more option. If I have a really busy week that needs extra room for note taking (like the week when Sam starts school...coming soon!), I can pull out a mug and put the binder rings right through the handle! Perfect!

{Today's Brew: Stamps, card stock and die cuts from Papertrey Ink, gingham paper from amuse, washi tape from Simple Stories, baker's twine, brad}

Grab a To Go cup of Pumpkin Spice latte and have a great day!

  1. Since I am retired, and have no one's activities to keep track of but my own and hubby's, I have do not have a planner. But that doesn't keep me from admiring yours. You coffee mug note cards are genius on several levels. Nice job! Really like the idea of putting it in the middle of the table so you remember to take it with you :)

  3. Blown away by every photo! Such a clever take on the challenge, and totally your own, (LOVE!). Just love the whole concept for your mini book, but CASE-able for notebooks all by themselves. Love the colors of your book too!
