A Star Wars Birthday!

My husband had a birthday yesterday! And what better way to celebrate than with the premiere showing of Star Wars: The Force Awakens!

Our oldest son, Luke (yes, Luke) stayed up late one night a few weeks back to buy tickets online for the very first showing.

I knew I'd have to make my husband a Star Wars inspired birthday card!

I added some stars and sparkle to the project.

You know you are a true geek when you really care that Yoda's lightsaber looks correct and that the Death Star is accurate.

{Today's Brew: Alphabet stamp set (Lawn Fawn), word window punch (SU), circle dies (WPlus9), star stencil (Memory Box), Glimmer Mist, PTI ink and card stock, washi tape, rhinestone}

The movie was packed, a sold out show! Lots of people in costumes, as we expected. We chose to be a little more understated and just wore our Star Wars T-shirts. ;)

The movie was great! A good time was had by all, especially the birthday boy!

May the force be with you, cafe friends!
