A Wreath For Spring

February does not come to a close before the spring wreaths make their appearance in my house. I NEED those flowers! They promise me that spring is right around the corner.

I transformed this grapevine wreath into a spring wreath by adding a few sprigs of forsythia, a robin's nest, and a length of black gingham ribbon. Grapevine wreaths are so cheap (usually under $5 at craft stores), and they are so versatile. I think this one looks great on the weathered playhouse door from my childhood.

The front door got a forsythia wreath, too. There may be fresh snow on the ground, but it is NOT sticking around for long...the groundhog promised me an early spring, and he better deliver!

I made a card with a spring wreath, using the Twig Wreath stamp set from Papertrey Ink.

{Today's Brew: Twig Wreath stamp set and dies (PTI), robin from Petite Pots (PTI), PTI inks, Linen card stock and gingham paper (PTI), ribbon}

The robins are in my yard today, signing a song of hope for warmer days.

Blessings on your day, cafe friends!

    1. I got it a few years ago at Joann Fabrics! I have two ( because I used to have two front doors in Pittsburgh!).

  2. The wreath turned out pretty. Your card is super cute with the little flowers and the fun DP.
