MIM #252: Shadowing With Copic Markers

Hello, cafe friends! This week's challenge at Papertrey Ink was to try a little shadowing technique using COPIC markers. I like the effect, as it gives this sentiment some dimension.

{Today's Brew: Leave It Be stamp set (PTI), die cut (PTI), PTI inks and card stock, Mister Huey spray mist}

I think the colors in my card today were inspired by my garden. I've been planting with lots of greens and purples and rich reds and pinks this season.

I just love the lush greens of spring and early summer. So many colors and varieties! Coleus and wax begonias, Astilbe and Coral Bells, all combined in my front garden where the afternoon shade should keep them happy. When everything grows and fills in as the season progresses, it should be a lovely combination for summer heading into fall.

Baby Robin seems to approve.

Blessings on your Sunday, cafe friends!
