Papertrey Ink Star Search Video Contest!

Good morning, cafe friends! I have some exciting news to share with you today!

My crafting video was one of five chosen in Papertrey Ink's Video Star Search Contest!

woo hoo!

It is such an honor to be chosen!

For my project, I made this fun felted wool ribbon bookmark! Coffee-inspired, of course!

Later this week, I will give some more details on the cards that I made here with this bookmark as the focal point.

Here's a link to Nichole's blog, where you can watch all of the videos and vote for your favorite!

I must say that I could not have participated in this contest without the help of my amazingly talented son, Samuel! Sam is a whiz at videography and computer-related film making (and he's only thirteen!). He has made some really hysterically funny videos in the past, and I knew this project would be the perfect collaboration for us.

Watch the video and tell me what you think of our first Mary Rose's Cafe video tutorial!

Blessings on your day, cafe friends!

  1. I just finished watching your video submission. Congratulations on making the finals. You did a wonderful job on both your project and video--not just saying that because it combined 3 of my favorite things. I do love reading, crafting and, um, oh yeah, COFFEE! You gave a nice 3-D tratment to such a cute set. Great gift idea.
Best of luck to you, Mary Rose

  3. Hi Mary Rose! My name is Stephanie and I live in the warm and sunny state of Florida. (Quite a departure from your home state of Michigan), but it's home for me. Your video was so much fun, and major kudos to your son! Your bookmark was such a great project, thanks for sharing. Congratulations for being a Papertry finalist, I want to wish you the best of luck! PS. I read back on your blog and your Apple dessert looked delicious!
