My Little Pony (birthday card, that is!)

Last week, I needed a birthday card for my great niece, Lola, who was celebrating her third birthday. It was a barn-themed party, and I needed a barn-themed card to go with her present.

I had an idea to use a swinging barn door for the card front. I cut the top half of the card front away to create the swinging door, and I used some papers from Simple Stories to create the barn wood look. And when the door swings open, the birthday sentiment is inside!

I also did a little paper piecing to give the farm girl a checked shirt. Yee-haw!

Blessings on your Sunday, cafe friends!
