Confirmation Day

Last Sunday was Sam's confirmation day! It was a lovely church service, and so wonderful to hear young people affirming their faith.

As confirmation date approached, each student had to choose a verse that was important to them. Sam knew right away what his verse would be.

"If God is for us, who can be against us?" he responded quickly.

Wow. What confidence! I pray that he holds on to this truth for the rest of his life.

I made this page to remember Sam's special day. I even included the print that I made for Sam's confirmation invitations.

Sam's "secret" prayer partners at church this year. It was no secret that Donna and Gerald are awesome!

I ordered the cake from Costco. It was beautiful AND delicious!

We had a lovely open house with family, food, and fun. One of the many joys of moving back home to Michigan is that we can celebrate life's big and little moments with the people we love so dearly!

A church member made these lovely stolls for each confirmand, with their name and chosen bible verse on each one. Isn't that sweet?

God bless you, Samuel! May your God, your church, and your faith be ever important to you. God is for you, always!
