Penny Black in Toffee Crunch

Last year, I started watching a lot of Penny Black YouTube videos featuring Jill Foster. Amazing! I love her easy water coloring techniques. She's probably the single reason I started buying so many PB stamps and dies this year.

Jill often uses Memento Toffee Crunch ink to give a softer look to stamped images.

I was visiting Paper and I in Marshall, Michigan last month. My list was pretty basic...a new pair of Cutter Bee Scissors, some foam tape, new plates for my Big Shot, and this Memento ink pad.

And then Mary, the owner said "Do you like Penny Black? I have some new products I'm just taking out of the box."

Yes, please!

These stamps and dies were part of their new Flower of the Month kits. I didn't think I needed the flowers that came with the kits, but these elements were perfect with the flowers I already own.

I stamped in the Memento ink onto Canson water color card stock, then used my Prima watercolors.

Fun cards for spring.

The April Flower of the Month kit features daisies, a pitcher, and some really great lacy background stamps. I think I might need the entire kit this time.
