Three for Spring

 

Happy Monday! It's looking very springy outside, finally. The grass is green and growing so fast, and every day the trees and bushes are leafing out a bit more.

I made three cards for spring, this time using the Penny Black stamps in black Versafine Onyx ink onto Canson water color card stock.

This one uses a frame (Penny Black) to ground the images, and a background with a few subtle postal elements.

Here, I chose a simple scalloped frame (Penny Black) onto kraft card base.

And finally, I popped the images onto this embossed frame panel (Taylored Expression) and did a little ink blending in the center with the help of a PTI stencil.

I wanted a nice sentiment or word to add to the front. This "Spring" word die from WPlus9 was the perfect size and script style.
