Brown County Fun

Thank you, my blog friends, for your warm wishes yesterday. My husband and I had a wonderful day celebrating our twentieth anniversary (I can't believe it! 20 yrs!) in Brown County, Indiana yesterday. We enjoyed the lovely rolling hills and fall foliage, popping in to shops and having a fabulous dinner together. I was able to visit my favorite stamp shop, Papertrix, in Nashville, Indiana. The owners of this shop are a lovely couple. It is so refreshing to talk to a gentleman who gets excited about the paper crafting industry! We had a great time "shop talking", and of course, I picked up some fun products.

For starters, I found two new stamp sets from Gooseberry Patch! This set, called Halloween Goodies, is just adorable! They are manufactured by Cookbookin', and you can visit their website to find retailers in your area who carry this fun line. www.cookbookin.com

I love these images! I thought these little 3 X 3 cards would be perfect for some baked goodies for the neighbor kids.

I am such a fan of Gooseberry Patch, and I'm absolutely thrilled that they've turned their wonderful art images into stamps. But Halloween would be lonely without Thanksgiving and Christmas, right? You'll have to stop back for more images in the future!

{recipe: Halloween Goodies (Gooseberry Patch), black/kraft/orange cardstock, orange gingham paper from Amuse, square scallop punch, versafine onyx ink, prisma markers}

Don't forget! Today is the last day to leave a comment for a chance to win some blog candy! The winner will be announced tomorrow!

  4. Okay Mary, I realize I'm showing my ignorance for the world to see, but blog candy? What's that? Wouldn't it be cool if the stupid chick won?

  5. Hi, Mary Rose! Love your blog! Just found you through Gooseberry Patch--I love them, too! Always have, but just discovered their blog--and those stamps! Love what you've done with them! I'm a card maker, too, & I do believe I'm going to have to follow your example and get them myself! I'll be back often to see what's going on in your part of the world...
