PTI Sept. Blog Hop #1: Wreaths (and a tutorial!)
Hello, cafe friends! It's blog hop day at Papertrey Ink! This month's challenge? Make a card featuring a wreath. Yes! After Monday's post of my front door, you know I'm all about the wreath right now!
For my first card, I decided to make a wreath using a non-traditional wreath stamp. I chose Little Bitty Bird stamp set for this card.
For starters, I traced a circle onto card stock with a marker.
Next, I used the branch from the stamp set, bending it slightly on the block. That's one of many reasons that photopolymer stamps are so awesome. Bendability!
Using a repeating pattern, I stamped my way around the circle.
And here's the completed project:
I like this one! It's a little primitive, I think.
{Today's Brew: Little Bitty Bird (PTI), PTI card stock, Distress inks, stains, and markers, stitched grosgrain ribbon}
There are two more wreath cards, so check below for additional posts today!
