Monday Morning Coffee

Happy Monday, cafe friends! I've brewed up a bold cup for you today...because it's Monday...and it's winter...and we have a snow day. 'Nuff said.

Last week, I was playing around with some different coloring mediums. If you visit a lot of blogs and websites that are crafty related, then you already know that there are some ROCK STARS in the coloring world who use inks and COPICS and such to create a masterpiece. They are awe-inspiring!

I am not one of those colorers. ha ha!  Most of my coloring is barely passable, and I openly confess to faking it where COPIC markers are concerned.

I have learned a little along the way, though. And one thing I've learned is that results vary from product to product. Here's a product that I really love...Prima watercolor pencils. Prima, not Prisma. There's a big difference. Prismacolor pencils are waxy, and they work great with Gamsol techniques. But Prima watercolor pencils are not waxy, and they blend easily with just a water pen. And the colors? Lovely! Such rich saturation of color!

I used the Prima watercolor pencils (I think from the Classics tin) to color my coffee girl. Don't you love her green Hunter boots?

{Today's Brew: BB Friends at First Sip (MFT), Boutique dies (MFT), LLD Perk Up stamp for shop window (MFT), MFT grass and sunshine stencil, PTI inks and card stock, Prima watercolor pencils, Wink of Stella, rhinestone twinkle for door handle, PITT marker}

Blessings on your Monday, cafe friends!
