Hello, cafe friends!
Ever find yourself in a craft slump? It happens to me often. I've found two cures for this:
1.) Clean your craft room! I'm always surprised by how this can re-energize me. Just seeing all of my pretty supplies makes me want to make something again.
2.) Switch up your crafting! If you've been making nothing but card after card for a while, try something completely different.
I did both this weekend!
I recently purchased the Darling Dangles earring kit from Taylored Expressions, and I have to say...this is so much fun!
The kit comes with ten pairs of earring hooks, three dies, and an assortment of leathers to start creating.
In addition, you can buy other leathers from the site, as well as more earring hooks and even some extra elements to add on.
I think these are super cute and trendy right now! They will make great, inexpensive gifts to give to friends and family. I plan on looking for some colored leathers this week, and hope to try embossing on some of the leathers for added detail.
If you watch Fixer Upper, chances are you've seen Joanna Gaines wearing earrings very similar to these. See? We're cool girls now! 😜

Cool! This looks like a fun afternoon project. The variety of leathers and shapes is great. A few months ago Dawn McVey shared Amazon links for leather tear drops like yours.
