More Coffee = Less Fear

Good morning, cafe friends!

I have brewed up a fun card today using Concord and 9th's turnabout stamps! I thought the blue and yellow combination was a good color for spring.

And yes, I had to stamp the envelope, too. Our poor, stressed out essential postal workers can use a smile these days.

{Today's Brew: Perfect Blend turnabout stamps (Concord and 9th), PTI card stock, Distress Oxide inks, doily, enamel dots}

I decided last week that enough was enough.

I am not going to live in fear, even though the daily news wants us to cower in our houses. Nope, not gonna do it. I will be safe, but I will not be fearful. Jesus told me "Fear not," and that's a command, not a suggestion.

So on Saturday, we masked up, brought our hand sanitizer, and went downtown to the first day of our local farmer's market. It was awesome!

I bought this rhubarb plant, which will go in my garden as soon as it warms up!

Flowers were blooming so sweetly!

I liked the banner downtown that reads " Your Cure For Bland". We all need a cure for that these days!

And finally, I got a Mexican Latte from Carrigan Cafe!

It tasted like freedom! Sweet victory!

Blessings, cafe friends!

  1. These days things we took for granted before quarantine spark a new, welcome joy. Carpe diem!

  2. I'm so glad to hear this! I'm with you - no living in fear. I've been going about life from day 1 of this thing. However, I read tons of history books so knowing everything mankind has been through and made it through has given me perspective. That's SO great your farmer's market is open! Ours was cancelled 2 months ago but I heard that they are rethinking that decision - I hope so!!!
