Matching the Card to the Packaging

Hello, and happy Saturday!

Today I thought I'd showcase a fancy project...matching cards to packaging!

I had wrapped two boxes in this awesome birch wrapping paper (leftover from Christmas!), and decided to bundle them with this pretty golden ribbon ( a freebie from my stash, probably recycled!) and some autumn leaves.

It inspired me to make a matching card, too!

Hi, Jemma!

I used Papertrey Ink's Birch background stamp with the Mix and Mat Plaid dies. I paired it with leaf dies from Concord and 9th.

{Today's Brew: PTI Birch stamp, PTI Mix and Mat Plaid die, Concord and 9th leaves dies, Lawn Fawn fancy wavy banner dies, PTI card stock and ink, button twine}

So who was the recipient of all of this fanciness today?

Sam! My baby turned 17! He had a cross country meet this morning, too.

He's growing up to be such a sweet young man. So proud!

It was a beautiful morning, and a pretty park to race in, too.

We are taking the Birthday Boy for some Detroit-style pizza tonight. Good times!

Blessings, cafe friends!

  1. This is so pretty that I think I'll need to case it someday soon. Can't believe Sam is 17! It was a great place for a cross country race.
