Coffee Lovers Fall/Winter 2020 Blog Hop: Day 2

It's day two of the Coffee Lover's Blog Hop! Today, I have brewed up a Mexican Spiced Latte!

{Today's Brew: Coffee Turnabout stamps and dies (Concord and 9th), C and 9th pumpkin die, Lawn Fawn papers, doily}

And why, you ask, is this a Mexican Spiced Latte? Because that is what I ordered when I went to my favorite spot in downtown Saline...Carrigan's Cafe! I tried oat milk for the first time, and it was a delicious combination!

Late last spring, when restaurants were finally able to open again, the city decided to close down one of our streets and create an "Umbrella Square" for outdoor dining.

The plan is to install outdoor smokeless fireplaces, along with portable space heaters, to encourage diners to continue to frequent the space. So far, the weather has been really nice for the square, but we are in Michigan, after all. Snow will be here before we know it. Perhaps igloos will be the next installation?

Thanks for visiting the cafe today!

  2. Love that umbrella square! We had our first day of snow yesterday, so no more outside dining. Restaurants are take out only, so I don't know how they will survive the winter.
