November Moon

Now that we are in "fall back" time, it has been getting dark so early! Our nightly dog walks have been getting later and later, too. The moon has been exceptionally beautiful the last few nights, and we enjoy seeing the stars as we walk. I even saw a shooting star right over the marsh behind our house the other night. So pretty!

I made two "moon" cards recently!

The first one was stamped in Versafine Onyx, and then I heat set it a bit and used COPIC markers to add layers of color.

For this card, I made a Distress Oxide blended background first, and then stamped over it in black.

{Today's Brew: Woodware Linocut owl stamp, Lawn Fawn sentiment, PTI banner die, Lawn Fawn leaves dies, PTI stars dies, star rhinestones, Distress Oxide inks, COPIC markers}

This week, the weather has been really lovely...I even have petunias still blooming on my deck! I know it won't last for long, but I have been enjoying this extended autumn.

A lot of my neighbors have already put up Christmas lights. I am not ready for that just yet. Even though temps are currently in the 60s, we are expecting cold temps and snow flurries this weekend. After Thanksgiving, I will be ready to switch to full holiday mode. But for now, I am content with this day!
