Today's Brew: Winter Stitchery!
I stitched up these Bee in My Bonnet patterns from Lori Holt's Stitch Cards last week. So fun!
The colors are so happy and joyful! Just what I need during the grey days of winter. These measure about 2 1/2-3 inches square. I think I am going to finish each in a flat manner, and then attach them to a length of ribbon and turn them into a banner for my fireplace mantle. Something fun and decorative to brighten up the house after all the Christmas has been taken down and put away.
I am going to pull out my Farm Girl and see if I can finish stitching her next. After that, it should be time to stitch up some of the Spring cards.
I have been having so much fun going back to the basics. Aida cloth and DMC floss. A good combination for my old eyes, too! 😊
