COVID-19: One Year Later

A year of pandemic. And what a year it was. It was one year ago this week that the nursing homes closed, the schools closed, and the country went on lockdown.

During the days that followed, I decided to make a COVID journal to record some of the things we experienced during these times.

I made my own journal using card stock and a stitched binding. Then, with help from Simple Stories Homespun collection, I got to work making it pretty.

I'm so glad I took photos during this year...empty store shelves, signs posted at the nursing home.

Luke's 30th birthday, which we celebrated the day before all restaurants closed.

I will share a few more pages in the days ahead. Speaking of birthdays, I need to get to the store to buy Luke's presents!

Blessings on your day, café friend!
