I have had this woven hearts die set from Papertrey Ink for a while now (maybe two or three years?), and for the life of me, I could not figure out how to make it work.
Erin Lincoln, a former PTI designer, had some adorable stitching dies back in the day, but many did not come with very clear instructions or videos.
Today, after a bit of searching, I found her recommendation to watch some Youtube videos under "Danish Woven Hearts Tutorial". Bingo!
Once I got started, it was simple. Kinda like whenever I use a blanket stitch, I always have to watch someone else start it, and then I'm good to go.
I have a sister who loves purple, and her birthday happens to be on Valentine's Day. This one is going on her gift bag!
Use What You've Got Challenge: felt, PTI dies, ancient Stampin' Up brads!
Mission accomplished!
This is so much fun, seeing what you come up with! What a cute gift bag embellishment. I had a giggle over the SU! container - the label is a giveaway to just how old it is lol!
ReplyDeleteWhat a darling heart! I remember that die set and could not understand the process either. What would we do without YouTube?
