Jemma, the Comfort Dog

 

It was a good day to be a dog.

Yesterday, we took Jemma to have her nails trimmed. We call it "beauty shop day".  And afterward, as long as we were enjoying car rides, we decided to take Jemma to see the residents at the nursing home, along with our Mom.

Who can resist that smiling face? She got a lot of pets and attention, and she was very good.

Jemma was dressed up fancy in her pretty new sunflower collar!

As a reward for good behavior, we took her to her favorite place...Mickey's Ice Cream Stand! The first Pup Cup of the season!

I remember when we used to call Jemma our "discomfort dog". lol! But she's really mellowed as she has matured. She's very social. Lots of puppy friends in our neighborhood, lots of dog walks and lots of encounters with new people. We are thinking about taking her with us on a trip to Indy next week. 

Every day is an adventure!
