I've been wanting to make some spring-colored felted flower brooches for a while. It seems all my flower pins are in autumn and winter colors. Sometimes, I like to pin these to a jean jacket or sweater for a little fashion flair.
I used some flower dies and leaves dies to cut them out, and used the circle dies for backing as I was hot-gluing them together. When they were assembled, I added the button.
I do love spring flowers! And they have been so welcome this spring! We've had a slow, gray, cold spring this year. And to make matters worse, it's been drizzly, rainy, and windy for a lot of those days. The warm sunny days have been few and far between. But the weatherman is promising better weather next week. It's about time! Sam has had quite a few track meets postponed because of this crazy weather.
One thing I can say for the cool weather...it does make the spring flowers last a little longer.
I hope your spring is filled with flowers!

Beautiful flower photos. . .and pins! Spring is finally getting started here, but cold nights mean covering tender buds. I dread having them freeze and then waiting a year for flowers.
