Three from the MMH

A few years back, Hero Arts offered this My Monthly Hero kit and I really liked it, but missed out on getting it. And then one day, someone was selling their kit on a FB forum, and I managed to snag it. Yay! It has the look of woodcuts, which I love, and it features a lot of great stamps and dies that work for the holidays and all through the winter.

For the first card, I paired the bird and images with this Nordic frame from The Greetery. It was easy to stamp the bird in multiple colors with the help of the MISTI.

For the next card, I used the Wood Slices background stamp from Stampin' Up to make a nice backdrop for this little owl.

For the final card, I paired the Nordic Frames die again, and layered some birch tree dies from Lawn Fawn to make a little forest.

I managed to get 25 cards assembled and shipped off to Hero Arts yesterday! I'm so happy to give these cards some new homes.

Another great place to donate cards to: Scrapbook.Com. They have an ongoing "Creative Kindness" foundation that accepts handmade cards for distribution around the world.  You can read about it here:

After cleaning out my craft room a few weeks back, I discovered a box that I will need to send them one day soon!

Hope you are having a good week, café friends!

  1. That's a great kit. Lucky you! I love the look, too, and I love what you've done with it.
