Pot Fillers: A Mix of Real and Faux

I finally got around to filling my outside urns yesterday. I'd been finding a little here, a little there, and it was time to put it all together.

I started with the faux greenery branch with pinecones, then added the white branches, the red berries, and the sparkly snowflakes.

I needed to fill the holes, so I used the dried hydrangeas from my garden.

If I had really been thinking ahead, I would have spray painted those hydrangeas with some gold, or maybe even cut them when they were still mostly green. I like the mix of faux and natural, though, and it did the trick.

I am still adding lights outside! The deer went back to their corner of the woods (I didn't like them up front), and we added some red lights to the smaller bushes. Just a little twinkle for the dark nights of winter.

Happy Friday, friends!
