Wax Seals

Have you played with the wax seals trend yet? It's actually quite fun! Honey Bee stamps has a line of wax seals and all the accessories...wax beads, wax melter spoon, wax forming mat. You can also find wax seals and supplies at places like Hobby Lobby and JoAnn's.

Today, I played around with the newest snowflake wax seal from Honey Bee Stamps.

You simply put the wax beads (I find two works best) into the melting spoon, hold it over a tealight candle until it has fully melted, and then pour it onto something like a craft mat. Press the seal into the wax, leave it for a few seconds, and lift up. Magic!

I used the wax seal on this winter card!

Warm Hugs, café friends!

  2. This looks so fun! I actually won a very generous gift card from Honey Bee Stamps during the Dare To Get Dirty challenges on Splitcoaststampers and I never saw these on their site. How fun would it be to seal an envelope this way? It would have to be a hand-deliverable card, but that would work for neighbor cards, or church family cards, etc. I'm so happy you showed these, Mary Rose! Happy New Year!
