Inspired By The New to Use The Old

Does this ever happen to you? You see a new release of products from a craft company, you get excited, and then you remember: Don't I have something like this already?

That happened to me last month with the new Boho Trends collection at Catherine Pooler.

To be honest, I am not  a huge lover of boho. Too trendy and somewhat disposable. I like elements of the trend...houseplants, baskets, maybe some of the color palettes. But I'm not hanging macramé everywhere.

I had this stencil from Simple Stories that reminded me of the rainbow stamps in this release. In order to get the ink colors in those tiny spaces, I used sponges and squeezed them small to fit. It worked just fine.

A little watercolor splattering, a few sequins, and done!
