I almost purchased a pack of wood grained background papers recently. Almost. And then I remembered all of the wood grain background stamps and embossing folders that I already owned. I put them to good use one day, stamping out a bunch to have on hand.
I used one here on this coffee card!

I have to remind myself : I don't need more paper! But I do love it. A fine balance between using it and hoarding it. LOL!
Today is my baby's 20th birthday. Where did the time go? Hoping to celebrate with the college boy tonight, if he's not swamped with class work.

Making do with what one has is one of the most satisfying things in the world lol. I say this as I await delivery of 5 packs of paper tomorrow (in my defense, I'm holding a stamp-a-stack style cardmaking event at my local library so I needed this paper for that). I LOVE LOVE LOVE your cards, especially the colors of the second one.
