I made a few Halloween cards this week.
And until recently, I didn't even own a single Halloween stamp set (unless you count a few of my pumpkin stamps and dies). Last month, when Hello Bluebird had their awesome overstock/discontinued sale, I found this cute set at a great price. It did not have matching dies, but everything in the set looked pretty easy to cut out with scissors if necessary.
I've been feeling a bit nostalgic for childhood Trick or Treating, in a Peanuts gang kind of way.
This card is a tribute to the spooky thrill of going out...in the dark...without parents...and knocking on neighbor's doors for treats!
With the popularity of Trunk or Treats, I think kids miss out on this a lot these days.
The slimline card base seemed like the perfect backdrop for some ink blended sky!
And inside, I added a fun message. I think I will mail my sons some restaurant gift cards with these!
