Do The Gobble

 

I ordered this stamp set, Do The Gobble, from Hello Bluebird back in July. I figured I'd give myself plenty of time to craft with it.

Which begs the question: why did it take me so long to make a card with this adorable stamp set? I guess I've been so busy making Christmas cards that I forgot to carve out time for Thanksgiving cards!

I had so much fun coloring these images yesterday! For starters, I die cut the tree frame and did some soft ink blending for all of the elements. After gluing them in place, I did some paint splatters with Prima metallics.

Next, some coloring with COPIC markers, and then the addition of some white gel pen. I am a novice when it comes to markering, but I think I'm getting a little better with some practice.

A few well-placed leaves, and done!
