Snow! Finally! Everything is covered in white. No more grey and brown. Magical!
I made a snowy tree scene card using stamps and dies from Hello Bluebird.
I made a skating pond for this snowman, adding some COPIC scribbles and some ribbons of Stickles.
And inside, I added this sentiment for a friend who's having a birthday this week.
{Today's Brew: Skating Together (Hello Bluebird), Winter Birch Scene die (HB), Falling Snow background stamp(HB), Merry Wishes stamp set(HB), Stickles}
Merry Wishes was another stamp set on a great sale that didn't have matching dies. But really, does a sentiment set need them? I decided to grab it, and I'm glad I did. I originally stamped the sentiment in black, but changed my mind and grabbed CP's Cummerbund instead. It made it look more like an icy message.
Like Frosty in the greenhouse filled with poinsettias, snowmen do not have a very long life in terms of crafty usage. You have to use them now, while the season is here.
And while the snow is here, I think I will put on my boots and cold weather gear and go walking in a winter wonderland before getting back to work.
