I had this idea for a Love Bug yesterday, and it turned out just as I hoped! You won't believe what I used to make this ladybug!
I used this Pie Day stamp set from Catherine Pooler!
I stamped one circle in black for the bug body, stamped another circle in red and then stamped the hearts on top. I cut this in half to make the wings.
And the apple? Well, I stamped that in black, turned it upside down, and glued it to the top of the black bug body.
Voila! A Love Bug!
I used CP's new metallic ink in silver to ink the LOVE word, then covered it in WOW clear embossing powder and heat embossed it. I did the same for the edges of that scalloped tag, too.
Metallic ink, word die, sequins, heat emboss and tag die. BINGO!
That is so incredibly clever and creative! That's amazing you were able to envision that! Do you feel like your creativity is really growing? Because it seems like it, with the watercoloring and stitching and journaling and cardmaking. It's really fun to see it all!
