Marigold Moments

Marigold Moments was a Stampin' Up set that was "the one that got away" for me. I'm not sure when it was released, but by the time I realized I wanted it, it was gone. Discontinued. Retired. No more.

I asked my SU demo, Joyce, if she could put the word out in her demo community. She found it for me last month, and at a good price, too!

I love marigolds! Such a happy, unassuming flower. You put them in the ground in May, and you will have blooms all the way to Halloween. In the summer months, the smell of marigolds can help to keep bunnies and deer out of your garden. And in autumn, the yellows and oranges mix perfectly with fall's palette.

I am a fan of SU's two step stamps! This one really does give the frilly look of marigolds.

{Today's Brew: Marigold Moments stamps and dies (SU), CP inks, Postal frame die (C and 9th), gingham ribbon, Prima paints for splattering}

Hope your day is golden!
