Making Time to Have Fun

Hobbies and crafts are important. They help us to relieve stress and spark creative thinking. One thing I'm trying to do more often: mix and match and play with my art supplies in new ways.

I've been watching Penny Black videos on YouTube, and I love the painterly style. Of course, I started making "lists" of the things I'd need to achieve the same look...inks, watercolor papers, dies, stamps.

I decided to throw the list out and use what I have instead. Year of Plenty for the win!

{Today's Brew: Winer Woods stamp set (SU), Cardinal (Penny Black), woodgrain frame die (Hero Arts), stitched hillside die (Lawn Fawn), Mama Elephant winter banner dies, snowflake dies}

We made some time for fun yesterday. Dinner with my Mom and siblings! It was a great way to catch up with everyone during the holidays.

I love these people so much!

I hope that you are finding time to have fun with the people you love, too.

Goodbye, 2024! See you in the new year!
