What I'm Reading, And Watching, and Excited to Watch

The trip to the library was quite fruitful. Three new books added to my TBR pile!

I have new reading goals this year. Read more, for starters. Read books piled up on my own bookshelves. Read classics. Read new authors.

I was excited to find this one yesterday. Miss Austen by Gill Hornby has been turned into a BBC series, and it will be debuting in May. I can't wait! It explores the relationship between Jane Austen and her sister, Cassandra, who famously burned almost all of Jane's letters after her death. It looks like a really great show to watch!

I recently watched a very good BBC production from 2007 that I'd never heard of before called Miss Austen Regrets, starring Greta Scaatchi. I thought it was very well done.

In the meantime, I've been enjoying shows on PBS and Britbox like Miss Scarlet, All Creatures Great and Small, and Father Brown.

I'd like to travel to England one day to do the Austen tour. And maybe even the Beatrix Potter tour. Maybe I can tour all the old houses and gardens while Ed bikes the countryside.

But first, college tuition payments for just a little while longer.
