It's leaf peeper season here in Michigan. We are not at full color yet, but many trees are putting on their fall colors a little earlier than normal.
This card uses an oldie but goodie from Concord and 9th.
The scattering of little leaves had me thinking of our Linden tree in the front yard. When one of the boys parks under this tree, they leave with a car covered in a confetti of leaves!
The leaves end up on Jemma, and she carries them into the house.
Fall is falling, friends!
Beautiful card, Mary Rose! I love the matting and deckled edges of the sentiment piece and I love the large leaf surrounded by the falling smaller leaves.
ReplyDeleteThe large tree in our yard has shed about half its leaves already. My husband and I went for a short post-dinner walk a couple nights ago and it was breezy and it was just the prettiest thing to see the colored leaves swirling off the trees and through the air to the ground!!
