Heart-2-Heart with Papertrey Ink

Things are changing at Papertrey Ink. It's all very mysterious, and nobody seems to know what the changes will be. But last month, half the design team left and no one has a clue who's actually going to be left to create the product. We all knew that when Nicole Heady left as one of the owners, things would never quite be the same again. Sadly, that seems to be the case.

Currently, there's a sale on all merchandise at the website. Are they liquidating for a big "going out of business" announcement? No one can be quite sure. But if you are a lover of their inks and cardstock, as I am, then this is a great chance to stock up.

One of the reasons I have loved PTI's designs is that they are timeless. Where other companies have trendy designs that can sometimes have a short shelf life, it seems as if PTI's designs are always fresh.

Take, for example, the Heart-2-Heart stamp sets. At $5 each, with $3 matching dies, these sets were always a great value. I have every one in the series! And I still love them! These images are a little smaller, so I used a smaller 3 1/2 x 5 card size to make the scale more appropriate. You can find this size of pre-made card front with matching envelopes at Hobby Lobby.

I just got back from a long weekend of stamping with my crafty retreat friends. I worked on bible journaling, nature journal, and of course, lots of cards, I will have some fun things to show you in the days ahead, so stay tuned!

My sweet friend, Brenda, brought this K-Cup to our retreat...oh my sweet coffee goodness! This one tastes like Starbucks Cinnamon Dolce Latte. Add a splash of vanilla almond creamer, and it is perfection!

Thanks for visiting the cafe today.

  1. Your cards are fresh and sweet with the Heart 2 Heart sets! They remind me of Lawn Fawn stamp sets. Good for you to own all the series, too.
