A Card For The New Homeowner!

Our son, John, bought a house last month...just weeks after his 26th birthday! We are so proud of him!

He is now learning all the ins and outs of being a homeowner. It all started with needing to purchase a new washer and dryer, then having to wait for delivery, then having problems with installation. Poor John! I think he had two weeks worth of laundry to clean when it was finally resolved!

So of course, I had to make him a laundry card. Because being a homeowner is definitely loads of fun!

I had so much fun making this card! Sometimes, I just need to spend a few hours in my studio getting crafty.

{Today's Brew: Loads of Fun stamps and dies (Lawn Fawn), Lawn Fawn papers, Taylored Expressions embossing folder, MFT banner die, PTI card stock, COPIC markers}

And here is John's sweet new house in Indianapolis!

Moving weekend was a BIG job, and we were all exhausted at the end! Here's Sam and John, crashed on the sectional in the family room!

I'm hoping to get back down to visit him next month and see how the home maintenance is coming along. Now that he has a three bedroom, two bathroom home, I have a place to crash! Yay!

Blessings, cafe friends!

  1. That is so exciting! When people were surveyed as to what finally made them feel like an adult, #1 was becoming a parent and #2 was buying a home. Congratulations to your son!

  2. Not very many 26 year olds can do this - kudos to John! His card is hilarious
