Thankful For Autumn
Don't you love a nice, slow autumn? This one is unfolding a little every day. Last year, it felt as if we went from the heat of September to parka weather overnight. But not this year! We are in full sweater weather now. The leaves are only starting to turn, and we only had to kick the furnace on about a week ago.
Just the other day, I had to go out to the garden and pick a full basket of tomatoes, peppers, and cukes...in the middle of October! How wonderful!
For today's card, I'm giving thanks to God for His goodness which is so evident in autumn.
{Today's Brew: Give Thanks stamps and dies (PTI), Year of Psalms stamp (PTI), Songbirds branch die (PTI), Birch Tree background stamp (PTI), PTI edges die, PTI card stock, Distress Oxide inks, rustic twine, enamel dots}
I am also so thankful that we managed to get the front porch railings and the deck painted this year. It's such a lovely view out back. And here we are, in the middle of October, and my geraniums look better than ever!
I told Ed the reason the deck looks so nice is because it is English Cream...just like Jemma!
I love spotting the deer in the fields and woods. Here is Mama Doe with her two fawns, who were chasing each other and playing. So sweet.
Give thanks to the LORD for He is good!
Blessings on your Friday, cafe friends!
