Happy Boxing Day! (and Merry Christmas!)
Happy Boxing Day!
I have two fun boxes to show you today! I made these treat boxes for a few of Jemma's friends in the neighborhood!
Remember how I have made a vow to use what I have this year? Well, these Lawn Fawn treat box dies are a case in point. I have had them for MONTHS, and this is the first time I've actually used them. Really?! What took me so long? They were fun and easy to make, too.
Gracie is Jemma's yellow lab best friend who lives down the street. Gracie loves Pupperonis, so I made this little treat box using Lawn Fawn dies and filled it with her favorite snacks.
Wally is the neighborhood dog that Sam walks. Jemma often gets to meet Wally on her walks, too. She's always confused if she sees Sam out walking another dog down her sidewalk!
I have to tell you, I'm pretty sure my son John thought I was absolutely nuts when I came up from the craft room with these doggy presents. But guess what happened just an hour later? The doorbell rang, and it was my neighbor with a present for Jemma from Gracie! LOL! I'm so glad I took the time to make these little gift boxes!
Christmas day was beautiful here. The temps were nearly 50, so that evening we took Jemma for a walk and were amazed by this stunning sunset.
A lovely way to end a lovely day.
Merry Christmas, cafe friends!
