The Glossies

Something really exciting happened at the tail end of 2019. I began writing for a magazine!

I approached Michigan Home and Lifestyle magazine, and they were open to new writers. Yay!

We call them "Glossies" because of their pretty glossy paper. And look! My photo and bio even appear in this issue!

I wrote a story on skylights, and you all know how much I love mine. Seriously, I barely survived our first cloudy, grey winter in this house. By the fall of the following year, I knew I'd have to have that light. And what a difference it makes in our daily living!

I am now consistently writing for three to four publications on a variety of topics, which makes things interesting. I'm so grateful for this new career. I meet so many interesting people, and I get to share their stories, which I love.

I had four articles to write in December, which was a little hectic, to say the least! It's a miracle that I got anything done for the holidays! But now that January is here, I can take a breather and catch up on some reading and crafting.
