Up North: Charlevoix and Coffee

Charlevoix is another charming town along the coast of Lake Michigan. We had lunch here one day, exploring the shops and walking along the beach.

You can even take a tour of the famous Mushroom Houses (or Hobbit Houses, as I like to call them!), built by the builder Earl Young in the early 1900s.

Charming shops!

I popped in here for a latte. The Harwood Cafe serves meat pies, or pasties...a Michigan tradition!

And speaking of coffee...I made this coffee inspired card yesterday for my friend, Beth. She just adopted a poodle named Paige, and I wanted to make her a card to celebrate her new Starbucks buddy!

{Today's Brew: Birdie Brown stamps and dies (MFT), MFT stencils, COPIC markers, Distress Oxides}

Thanks for visiting the cafe today!

  1. More lovely places! The weather looks gorgeous, too. This trip must have renewed your spirit after so much staying at home.
