Paper and I

Marshall, Michigan is a sweet, historic town! It is home to the famous restaurant, Win Schulers, and the celebrated Dark Horse Brewery. It also has a paper crafts store called Paper and I that is wonderful! That store is filled with so many treasures...you are afraid you will miss something if you don't take your time!

I was lucky to snag this set of Taylored Expressions pastel blender brushes on our first trip there. If I had waited, they would have been sold out!

I used my brushes a lot, too! I was creating a lot of Distress Oxide backgrounds for my new Jane Gill linocut stamps.

Here's a shot of Mom and friends as we were leaving the store. Such a fun place!

I love the simplicity of this card! I think the background really sets off the beauty of the stamp.

Did you see that big Blue Moon on Halloween? It was beautiful! What a perfect night for trick or treaters. My husband put out a card table at the end of the driveway near the sidewalk, and he said he had 40-50 visitors, which is the norm for us. I'm glad to hear that folks got creative, given all the limitations these days.

Blessings on your day, cafe friends!
