Happy Saturday, Café Friends!
I started working on my Christmas cards yesterday. I confess, I use a combination of store-bought Lang cards for family, and hand stamped cards for my crafty friends.
I was playing with my Woodware Linocut stamps yesterday, and I was so happy with the results!
This two-step process worked really well. I have found that these linocut style stamps take a LOT of ink, so you really want juicy ink pads. For this reason, I decided to use the Distress Oxides. I found that inking directly to the stamp, and then going back with an inked dauber really helped. That, and the MISTI if it needs another inking.
You know things are getting serious when I start making multiple cards in one design! LOL!
