Field Notes 2

 

I finally got a chance to play with the Field Notes 2 kit from Taylored Expressions. When this one came out, I ordered without hesitation, which is really unlike me. Normally, I'll keep something in a shopping cart for weeks while I decide if I need it. But this kit was so lovely, and I do love Cosmos! I also ordered the stamps from Field Notes 1 at the same time.

I stamped the image on watercolor paper, and then used Distress Oxide inks to paint the flowers. I kinda wish I'd used my watercolor paints instead. The ink got a little smeary, and the colors were not as vibrant as I would have liked. Oh well!

The sentiment is from another TE stamp set. I added some sequins and the ribbon to finish this off.
