A Good Day

 

Last weekend, I went on a quick stamp/craft retreat to my good friend, Gloria's lakeside home. It was so nice to spend time with all the ladies who speak my language! We try to keep our supplies down to a minimum. Some of us are better at this than others. ha ha ha!

I decided to bring two things for my Mom and I to work on: Simple Stories card kits and Catherine Pooler stamps and dies. I had so much fun playing with all of the new CP items that I've been buying lately! I have been so busy with writing assignments that I haven't had a lot of time for crafting this month. I needed a break!

I made this card before we left. I combined three CP stamp sets, and I really like how it turned out.
