Crafting With Mom

Last weekend, I packed up a bunch of supplies, made some chili, and brought it all to my Mom's for a day of food and fun.

This was the weekend when we'd normally head to Marshall, Michigan with our stamping buddies. For a number of reasons, we just weren't able to do it this year. I didn't want my mom to completely miss out, though, so we crafted together and "visited" with our friends on Facetime.

I tried to plan a few fall/Thanksgiving projects for us using just a few stamp sets. In truth, we got a little waylaid halfway through and didn't have enough time to get to even half of it. But that's okay. We made a few cards using Taylored Expressions Wheatfield Dreams and Field Notes kits.

We did some simple coloring using COPIC markers.

Thanks for visiting the café today!
